300ex or warrior

Default 300ex or warrior

i am getting ready to buy my first atv it will be used i want either a 300ex or a warrior ihave heard good things about both i am kind of new to the atv world so i was wondering if you guys could help me with a little input. i mainly want an atv for trail riding thanks for the input

The 300ex is a great quad and can be used for anything. The warrior is a great quad too and is faster than the 300ex but if ur into wheelies and such get the 300ex because the warrior takes alot to get use too. The Warrior will go 61mph and 300ex goes around 55mph. They are both easy to mod and fit into all kinds of riding. My $.02 lata

Oh sorry for not including trail riding but they are both great for trail riding. Can probably both keep up with alot bigger quads. Depends on how big u are. Warrior is for bigger riders where the 300ex is a bit smaller. but doesnt really matter to me i love both machines.

I rode a Warror for years, and would NOT recommend that you get one!! It is an old, tired design. Yamaha needs to retire it. The bike is big, and handles clunky. A dozen years ago, it was a good choice. But today, there are so many better bikes out there!!!

We had a 300 for years also. It is an extremely agile trail riding machine, but is underpowered. Also, it is medium size, and too small for large riders. So, I would say if you are on the small side, the 300 would be OK. If you are larger, go with the LTZ 400 or the Honda 400 (no reverse!) if you are on a budget.

like the 1st guy said do a search it has only come up about uhhhh like 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times.. well here is my 2c well the 300 is a good quad but for bigger guys we feel small on it and the reverse is a joke in its self.. the warrior yes its an old design but look how many broken warriors do u see and ones in the shop or guys havin to fix them time after time.. the warrior is faster then the 300 the 300 will wheelie better untill u get used to the warrior.the warrior is strong i mean some say yamaha should get rid of it but its still one of the best selling quads out there its almost as reliable as the honda fourtrax 300 but not quite those take a beating and still keep on ticking.. well here is the general rule of thumb bettween the 2 if you are over 6' get the warrior if under 6' get the 300 cant go wrong either way but i think u can have more fun on the warrior i have a couple of 20ft jumps and the warrior takes them fine im workin on buildin a 25+' jumps so.. well have fun and let us all know wat u get

Go to a couple dealers and sit on them. If you've ridden at all you'll be able to see a little difference between them. Also try to get someone to let you test drive them.

Both my friends have them...their both excelent quads and have not had a problem yet! So it depends on your size and how fast your going to be going...warrior is faster and a more powerfull engine and the turning radius on the warrior is maybe alittle better but not so much that you could tell...which ever fits you better you should get....go to a dealer and see if you can test drive it and thats about all you can do because their are both great!!!!!
