warrior input

Default warrior input

OK guys, i am thinking on getting a warrior and I was wondering if you could give me some input on them.
I have a friend that that has a '96 warrior that I rode, But the carb. is stopped up or something, so the power is cut down a good bit. Could any of yall help me on my decision.

I have a 03 Raptor and a 99 Warrior. The warrior is fun to ride, climbs good- seems geared low. We take it to Glamis and my son who is 6' 220lbs can climb most of the hills but.........in last place. My wife actually prefers the Warrior over the Raptor (thank God). The thing just seems to keep going and going.

They handle great. With some new tires they slide really good. Stock it will go about 61 MPH. it has good low end power and so far i think its pretty relieble no big problems yet.

Good all around bike. Reliable like the sunrise. A new set of sneekers will make a world of differance. There are however better bikes for a few more greenbacks. I really don't like Suzuki much but the Z400 is a good buy.

Yes there are good Quads. A stock Warrior will Top out at 60-65 MPH and the handle good. And I would not get any big air with the Stock Shocks. And they do have good Low end Power.
The only thing I do not like about the is if you need a new ball joint you will have to buy a new A-Arm.

The Warrior is a great machine and I agree as reliable as the sunrise. I had one for 4 years I bought it new in 99 and and just recently traded it off for a new Raptor. I put that Warrior through some rough stuff every now and then and it still ran great. Top speed was pretty good I think it topped out at 60MPH. If you do the simple mods like exhaust, air filter, and new jets it does help it out a lot. I think stock HP is like 17 and with the simple mods I stated above I think you can get like 20 HP out of it. I loved my Warrior I just wanted something new and the Raptor caught my eye. Another little hint if you do do those mods then put a 14 tooth front sprocket on it cause the Warrior is geared low.

where can I buy a 14 tooth sprocket. i have looked for one but never found one.
