Blaster jetting trouble!
#1
I just recently got a new FMF SST pipe and a Power Core2 silencer for my Blaster. FMF says to use a 260 main jet. I have no other mods what so ever. I live in Iowa, 1,200ft elevation. What jet should I use, should i change the needle?

did you check the plugs? rich is better then lean if its lean it could be bad for your engine. i run a 310 that toomey suplies. id go a little richer and see how if it runs better but check the plugs that will tell you to go richer or leaner

Yup, exactly, start big and go down. I would start with a 310 or so and when it bogs at WOT (wide open throttle) go down a size. Its not that hard. Main jets control from about 1/2 to full, needle jets from 1/4 to 1/2 and your pilot jet from 0-1/4 throttle. Get your pilot and needle dialed in before your main and it shouldn't take a whole lot of time. Good luck and have fun learning. Its a great part of the sport!
