Default Can someone help me with my (stock) Raptor suspension settings?

I'm 5'10" and about 185lbs.
Can anyone recommend tweaking the suspension settings from stock for any improvements?
I don't expect someone to be able to give me EXACT settings, but just wondering if I should mess with it at all?

I've bumped the rear tires up to 6psi to help a bit with the front end coming up in the woods, and its made a great deal of difference so far.
Would firming up the compression on the rear shock help?

Thanks for any insight anyone can give me.

Mess with your suspension all day and all night...its a great way to build confidence. I'd recomend that you tighten your spring...
don't be timid, make some adjustments then ride it, make some more adjustments...

Yeah...what JAY said. Take a day to adjust it softer. See how it rides. Then harder. See how it rides. You'll be able to feel when you have it adjusted to your liking.

I found that having soft front shocks on big jumps will bottom-out the front suspension on landing, putting the sudden stop "shock" straight into my arms. Thats me, though, it could just be my jumping style!! Not to mention the bulldozing affect on jump approach!!!

im 5'11 and about 160 and i just tightened my front suspension all the way as tight as they can go. I have nothin but praise for the results. Is it definately more stable. before the adjustment i was extremely hesitant even to do donuts because the suspension would dive so much on a turn. Now when the rear comes up, the rappy stays stable. Also, coming off a 4 foot cliff (if u would call it that) i bottomed out the suspension before. Now it is much better. To be perfectly honest, i wish it was even stiffer. i tightened the rear a little but not to the extent of the front.

basically, if you like a soft ride to cruise at that feels like your on a boat, leave the suspension alone...if you ride hard and want better handling, tighten those babies up! good luck, warrior

If it ever stops raining,I'll probably go out and try it at both extremes...soft and hard......to get a feel for how the bike reacts at those exptremeties.

Then I guess I'll tune it to where it feels best for me.

Thanks for the info and advice.
