Default More Fuel For My 700 V-Force

I just installed IMS's new 4.6 gallon fuel tank on my V-force. Installation is quick and easy! no modifications needed! Just remove the old and install the new.

Right around $250. You can buy right from IMS. www.imsproducts.com

Wow. When i talked to them they said the tank was only going to be a 4 gallon. Post some pics. I want to make sure it doesnt get in the way of the dual exhaust when i get it. Thanks!!

Endmumma,

Were you the guy out at Rausch Creek last Friday (5/2) with whom I discussed the IMS tank? I was on the green VForce. How long did it take to install the tank?

The tank states on it -- 4.6 gallons. Sorry, I don't have any pics of it. I do not think it will hurt the dual exhaust. it just sitsa little lower and is wider that stock tank. I am going to install the dual exhuast in 2 weeks when my 785 kit arrives. As for installation time about one hour. Remove seat, rear plastic, fuel pump, remove tank, remove factory tank skin/shell/protector. Install new brackets and reuse old rubber mounting bushings, drop in new tank, install fuel pump, and plastic. Add gas and go riding!!!

Nope not me at Raush Creek last weekend. I will be in Shamokin this Saturday doing some riding and coal hill climbing, if anyone would like to join.
