What would you guys think of a sport quad from Arctic?What if it used their own fourstroke motor built right in USA?Start saving because it is coming.

 

I heard the Arctic Cat new sport quad is just a Z400 in different clothing. The picture I saw showed it in black. Really ugly front hood compared to Z400/KFX400. If this is not it..any specs.

 

The one you saw was a Z400 they decided not to do that and developed their own.I dont know the specs but I do know they are building the motor right now.

 

Do you know when its coming out?

 

I would think it will be announced at the dealer meetings in june.

I was checking out ATVTVs seasonal lineup on their website and its all about ute quads. I mean, except for one more episode with sport quads in it, the rest are ALL utility quad shows.
And here we have every ute quad maker on the planet suddenly scrambling to build sport quads.
I told Doug that i thot he was gonna get stomped by the new show's format [really cool] ....

I wish Arctic Cat luck in their project...the market is getting crowded and its not gonna be easy!

 

I hope Arctic Cat doesn't use the same plastic that was shown on their Z400 copy.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

It'll be interesting to see what AC comes up with. I agree wich Coyotechaser that they should drop that bad plastic on their prototype. While I hope they do more than just use the z400 chassis, I think it'll be tough for them to top what Polaris did with the Predator.

 

I hope they add thier BEFI(batteryless electronic fuel injection) to their engines. They have had it on their sleds for about 10 years now.
