I've got a feeling its going to be the same motor but might be a slighty different frame.

I doubt its there own, they don't make their own in any quad or sled. Its all from Suzuki, they have an aggrement. In the past they have used different variations of the Suzuki motors but they have never built their own motor, I highly doubt they will. If they do then I don't think they would even have the right to even make a sport quad that looks anything like the Z400. In last years dealer show they showed off a Z400 copy cat and said it was based off the Z400 but might have something special to it. Something special might be a tweaked frame, maybe a race ready model or EFI or something like that. They will not make their own motor.

I happen to know the machine shop that is making the motors for Arctic Cat it is there own design and they went out of their way NOT to copy the suzuki.

Its possible I guess. It would be really cool if they did make their own, only time will tell I guess.

These rumors are even flying around up here in Canada. Some of it must be true. Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeve.

Not many sport bikes here. I saw a pred last night, i didnt realize they were that small (compared to a 650+pd utility). It could go on my back rack and take it home. The guy was just at the end of the break in. He said it gets better each day its ridden. I cant wait to see this 650. Even its a darn kvf650 engine.

I don't see how the Kawi motor will be used, they won't even let Suzuki have it, yet. It has to be a Suzuki motor built by Suzuki or a new beast from Arctic Cat. I'm thinking its a Suzuki motor and the Arctic Cart big bore will be released this year and so will Suzuki's big bore. In the past there was a 1 year difference between what Suzuki released and what Arctic Cat released. Maybe they have rewritten the contract and can now release the same year as Suzuki, anything to take away from Polaris, Honda and Yamaha. Better to have Arctic Cat taking in money than those three, better for Suzuki that is. I think the sport quad will be a rebadged Z400.

OR

The dealershow is just an upcoming preview for next year and they will only release a rebadged Z400 because it has been one year since the release of the Z400.
