I got a 85' atc honda 250sx that i always used to putt around on when i was little and now its just sitting out back. My question is what bearings do I need that go up front right where the swingarm connects to the frame, they are totally shot right now. Thanks, steve

PartsFish calls them a 30203j. I'm not sure what that means. Check out www.partsfish.com You have to register then just search for the part. The bad news is they are charging $38 each.

check Ebay for those too - several guys selling new ones ( not used ) on there, and I think they
go about $20. I've never done it, but I've heard that getting the swingarm bolt out can
be a real beyotch

Woodo, I registered on partsfish.com but then couldnt find them. But i will look tomorrow since i didnt have the much time yesterday, had to go to work.

Yah, good idea thrashed200m. Theres some good deals on ebay. And yah its gonna be tough getting that bolt out since its probably the first time since itll be taken out. Its probably rusted on, lol.. but ill get her out somehow.

Default Honda ATC 250sx question

I just removed the swingarm on one of my SX'x this past week. You need to back off a lock nut. It takes a special Honda tool but you may be able to make something up to get it off. I took a big washer cut notches in it bent them over and welded a big nut on it. You will see what you need when you look at it. You will also need a big allen wrench. Once again I didn't have the wrench but I found that a large nut will fit inside so I took two nuts welded them on opposite sides of a washer and it did the job. Soak it with penetrating only first.
