you'd lose a ton a overal top speed by gearing down

If you left it stock geared i'm sure you'd top out about 75?

You'd be quick with the 13 tooth tho!

 

A 13 tooth front sprocket will make it faster not slower because the stock front sprocket has 12 teeth. Going up on the front sprocket gears up. Going up on the rear gears down. A brand new stock machine tops out somewhere around 74 acording to a dirtwheels test. With these mods and gearing up, you should obviously expect to go faster than that.

Stock front sprocket is 12 teeth so 13 will give more top speed but less bottom end, personally i use 12 teeth so I can leave harder in second gear. The mods you mentioned will definately make your lt faster. HOw much hp depends entirely on the condition of your engine. THe pipe/sil/filter combo will get you about 6 hp, reed cage will improve throttle response which is as good as hp, and compression increase from a cool head will give you a couple more ponies at best. A stock lt has i believe 26 hp so youd have less than 35,but its really impossible to tell. Even dynos can be misleading, from machine to machine. I had a pro circuit pipe and purchased an LRD. If you intend to buy a pipe id wait till you had the money for an LRD its worth it.
