I just went to GasGas atv site GG ATV Tech
and looked under the tech link and saw a report that GNCC #7 pro-production rider Chad Duvall is to have reportly signed with GasGas. Anyone know if it is true? I've been hearing rumors from GasGas dealers and from other sources, but I haven't asked Chad if it's true yet. I hope so.

 

Yes, Gas Gas is sending up a 450 to Four Stroke Tech to prepare for a GNCC Pro Production machine. There has not been anything signed; we are just in the test stages for now but I am impressed with what I see in Gas Gas and they are willing to work with us.

That was the impression I was under. It's good to hear that GasGas is try to get involved. They have an awesome machine and Chad is the perfect guy to put on it. I can wait to see him on one at the nationals or even a district. So can we expect to see him on it this year or is it something that might happen for next season?

 

cool! Gas Gas appears to be jumping in on the action... that should relly help them out having big names & great riders showing off thier machines.

 

That's what I've been telling my dealer and the importer from day one. Talk to a top engine builder and top pro about a deal and get the quad out front to prove that it's time to retire the 250r and step up to the new wave of top end 2-stroke power. I'm glad they are listening.

 

My goal is to have the 450 ready for the WISP! If not for a flat tire last year I believe he would have won the overall again. I believe the GAS GAS will go fast fast up the big hills and the handling will be far better than the 500ex Chad is riding now.

 

That's great I hope it is ready for that race. Remember watching Chad run it last year and I rooting him on. It sucked that a flat tire kept him from his second overall. I ran the morning class at that race and suffered 2 flats myself. I've been talking to Chad this year at the nationals and the district 11 races that he show up to and I'm hoping to get him to put some more seat time on my 300 at a district. He's got my number now so hopefully me can set something up. If you or Chad have any questions about my set-up or things I've changed on the 300 feel free to ask. Chad has helped me out so much over my racing experience anything I can do to help him I well. Thanks for your time and letting us all know what is going on behind the scenes at 4-stroke Tech and GasGas. I hope everything works out for you and Chad and for the industry we all need a company to set-up and take over where cannondale let off.

mickey what are your plans with the front end?? suspension aarms shocks ?? spindles?

 

I plan on using the 400ex front end that CHAD is running now,ELKA 19 inch shock,HOUSER a- arms +1.25 with DOUGLAS 4+1 off set wheels. On the rear shock ELKA will build a long travle unit with the stock arm.
