Default arctic cat wheeler. whats its purpose?

i own a 1998 arctic cat 300. i love it a lot. its a fun ride and can help around the farm alot. yeah i live on a farm. it really comes in handy. i was wondering though, is the arctic cat just good for like utility purposes? are there any kinds of races or something that you can do with these things besides heavy duty chores and riding rough terrain. why doesnt arctic cat make a quad that is more for performance to go along with its lineup? if they did would it be any good? im just curious. ive wondered about this ever since i bought my cat.

I was flippin' through an ATV performance mag while getting tires put on my car today and they had some pics of an '04 AC sport atv. You should be able to find out something about it on the net.

At first the AC sport was supposed to be a Z400 with different plastic. (Suzuki makes AC's motors)
I'm not sure if this is still their plan.

It is true that A/C will use the 400z suzuki engine with new body work.
