Airing out the Kitty
#1
Yesterday day me and my buddy were out riding and came upon a retention berm (2-3 ft high) that had some water behind it. Being the intellegient one I gunned it and launched the 1 week old kitty right off the thing up into the air (3-4 ft high) and splashed down in the middle of the water. I wish I had brought the camera. The kitty was getting some pretty serious air for a ute quad. The suspension was soaking it all up beautifully. My question is; what am I going to break/tear up if I run out of suspension and or keep launching it into the air. It's just so much fun, I would get a sport quad but I love running the mud holes too. By the way the CAT is very good in the mud, stock. Thanks.

IF you jump like that alot, I mean like everyday for the next 2 months you might need new shocks. If you run big tires and are airing it like that its very hard on everything in the suspension area. CV's joints might get broken if you keep doing that. Nothing should bend though, cats are built fairly tough.
Get that camera and go back to that spot and snap some pictures!

there was a 500i cat at the dealer i go to about a month or so ago and he broke an axel rite at the cv joint and he said he was jumping it and he was getting 3 to 4 feet of air. i dont think it was desined to do those kind of jumps.and if you do brake somthing jumping it dont tell the dealer that. thats what this guy did and the dealer said thay were not going to cover it under warrenty because he was abuseing it.
