hey got me a super trapp last night off ebay for 129.00 . i have a dyno jet kit and a k&n air filter. the dyno jet kit calls for a 148 main with an aftermarket pipe and filter. i live in La. just to save some time what main jet did yall end up with. it came with a 148 main and i have a 146 dyno jet main in right now. i cant test it yet thou because its up at jasons shop getting the gorilla joints. they are almost done. its going to be up there. i have done some mods to the a-arms, it should be 20+ of g/c

 

CatKrazy should be able to help out on the jetting with a Supertrapp. I saw Max's Cat yesterday at Gorilla and it is going to be a MONSTER.

 

i am doing the same pipe and jet mod. i sent CK an e-mail about a week ago to ask the same question and have not heard from him. i guess he's fallen off the face of the earth. max, your rig sounds like it's about become an animal. is gorrila going to stand behind those axles with all that lift? i need to come down to La and see that thing in action. post or send me an e-mail the next time you hit the slop.

 

cool max, i cant wait to see that. cant really help ya on the jetting the trap, CK can. You should like the muffler. I think CK will sometimes be at the firehouse for a fews days in a row.

dam i want some of those axles. the problem is, everytime i spend money on the cat it cost me double. my wife goes out and spends the same amount on herself. ODB, are you from north La too?

Heres CKS setup unless it changed,...

"No i did not have to rejet when i did the muffler mod. it was real black but i dont think i had the jet kit at the time yet. But Yes even with the baffles out i could have used a lower jet.

With my super trapp the main is 148
with my stock mod pipe it is a 146. needle set on 3 for both.

not only will he jason stand behind the axels with the lift. he told me to make the lift however i want to then he will build the cvs to fit the lift. yall can not go wrong with gorilla joints. he will bend over backwards to help yall out and stand behind his products. i know it is expensive but you get what you pay for on these.

Did either of you make it to Marengo this year? I saw a nice Lime Green 500i that was snorkled and had a pipe, Wondering if you might have seen him or know who that is? Very nice bike, the mud was caked up on his tires so bad that I could not tell what they were. He had blond hair and was wearing a red shirt.
