quick question: when the application says Arctic Cat 500 (01+) does the plus mean that it will work on new then 01 models?

 

depends on the product. I remember like on carb kits and pipes and stuff, back when the 01's and when the first automatic came out, they switched from Mikuni to Keihin carburators, so stuff was different. First for the auto, and then the manuals followed on the 01 models. I think they may be back to Mikuni carbs again now, so I would call them and verify for whatever it is you are looking at. For body parts like lifts and stuff, there could be some differences also between models. I would check with them over the phone to make sure rather than chancing and ordering it straight online.
