Is there enough room to modify the seat so you can move your body forward? I am referring to the rake or slope up to the fuel tank.. I have been told the air box is under that location.. But I do not know how much room there is? Has any one looked or done any thing like what I am referring?

Thanks...

why would you want to do that. i can sit at the front of the seat with no probs. i find it uncomfortable sitting that close but you can do it. and yes the airbox is right under the front of the seat.

Due to my KNEES, I require the ability to move forward and back on the seat for long rides... This allows me to move my knees around... This helps allot... I hate not being able to walk at all after a ride.....

Thanks; I know you would understand...

Thanks for the info on the seat vs. Knees... When I actually get mine, thinking of waiting for the 2004, I will ride it for a while to see...

Thanks again...

Is that windshield of yours helpful, or does it seem to get in the way?
