has any body rode the sport quad or it has not came out yet

 

It's the same as the z400 or kfx400, just with different plastic. I was told Sept range on the release date. I maybe wrong of the release date.

Completely the same as the KFX400 and LT-Z400. Obviously, the plastic is changed and is detachable, other than the exact same bikes underneath.

 

What kind of marketing strategy is it to make exact copies of other companies quads. I cant wait for dirt wheels to do the shootout of the 400's. The could call it battle of the genericquads.

 

Pretty smart marketing stragety, spread the R&D across three brands, and you have people who would not buy a Suzuki/Kawi/Arctic Cat, so join forces and change colors and you can sell it to them anyway.

 

Ya they should keep going and honda ,yamaha ,polaris ,wouldnt have to bother trying to out do each other ,well I could probalbly exclude Honda since they dont actually try do compete with the rest.

 

I the lastest DW mag they have a preview of the AC quads for 04 and they show all three color schemes that AC will have for the dvx400. They also state that the reason AC is using the Suzuki quad is because they don't want to jump into the sport market completely, they want to slowly test the waters and go from there. I can see maybe in 3 or so years (if the AC 400 is a hit) them maybe looking into changing it or coming out with their own sport quad. I guess will find out in do time.

 

The DVX400 Can hardly be a hit I think. It's only another Z/KFX. There is already a lot of them sold. And with the new Honda/Yamaha 450 Out, nobody will really buy those one anymore. On top of that, I think that a lots of person will buy a Suzuki or a Kawa before an arctic cat. (even if it's the same quad)

 

people will buy them, there will be a 2000 difference in the price over a 450.
