Rear MRP for TRV
#1
I won't even begin to guess why the Arctic Cat kids didn't put a MRP rack on the rear of the TRV but I'm looking to make one. Have welder and side grinder, will cut to fit. Has anyone else done this already? I was thinking of getting a existing MRP rack and fitting it to the TRV rear mini rack. - Cut weld and attach. Rather then build from scratch.

I was thinking the same thing. I've got two 2004 TRVs, and would like some sort of rear rack. Nothing huge, just a little more room than whats provided stock.
Lemme know how your project turns out please!

i think the reason they never put anything back there is they dont want you to load it up and have it filp backwords on you going up hills and other things.any extra weight back there will make the front end lighter and come up easyer. i know on my 500 with the dog on the seat on the back of my bike it realy lightens up the front end.

With a cost of $189.00 I will NOT be cutting up a rear rack to make one that fits the MRP. So Im going to need a square and a straight edge.... Maybe one of those drop down racks could be modified to connect like the MRP attachments to the existing rack....hmmmm?
