Here is the kit ive seen people talk about. 1 Gal of 0w40 Cat Synth for wet clutch, an oil filter and spout. 46.00 canadian. The 10w40 and a filter is 40. So for 6 bucks, ill stick with the synth. It made an immediate improvment in ease of shifting. Esp downshift. Worth it IMO.

Did you get your dealer to bring this in or did you order it? If so, where from? It is time for an oil change and I am thinking about switching to synth oil.

 

He already had them in. Stones in New Glasgow. Your dealer in Hali should be able to get you part # 0436-453 for 46.95.

It doesnt say. Im going to keep it the same. 300~400 Miles.

 

Arctic Cat says you can go 1000 miles or once a year with the synthetic oil.

That oil/filter kit here in Massachusetts cost me $22. I just did my first oil change on my 500i. The said you can also use Amsoil.
