Default New 03 400 4x4 auto - Have a Question

I just got my 2003 400 4x4 Auto. I love it. The suspension is incredible. My question is : My engine seems to be reving like crazy but not going anywhere. my friend with a Yamaha 400 was walking away from me. Is this just the way it is?

My wife has an 03 400i. When she 1st got it it was loud and slow. She now has 400 miles on it and the difference is night and day. Your AC will never be as fast as some others, but wait till it gets a couple hundred miles on it and you'll notice a big difference.

Default New 03 400 4x4 auto - Have a Question

Hello. My uncle has a 400 auto as well and my cousin has the 375 auto. (Both have same engine). My point is........they both have very loud reving atv's. My uncles is new and the 375 has about 2000 miles. I've driven both and the reving is still there. It kind of feels like your pulling a parachute. The dealer claims its normal.

My dad has a 400 auto. I can't stand it, it is so loud even when it doesn't go any where. When it is going 10 it is as loud as my manual doing 30 or 40. Sounds like mine in low gear.

Isn't there a clutch kit you can install?
