can anybody help? when my wifes AC 400 auto sits for a time, like a month, without being run i have a very hard time starting it. it seems like the carb isnt getting any fuel. but if my AC 400i sits for the same amount of time it will fire right away, every time. do you think it would help to turn off the fuel on my wifes atv when i put hers away? would that keep the gas any closer to the carb to help this problem? i guess i should mention that my wifes is a 2003 and mine is a 2002.

when you are ready to put it up, turn the gas off and let the quad idle until it "runs out of gas" before storing it.

Just like Catsmeow says I run mine out of fuel every time I haul it and every time I park it in the garage and I haven't had any such problems to date. I only have about 130 miles on it but I think it helps to do this. Try it and see if it will help with the problems.
