Default Arctic Cat 400i 4x4 auto questions

I just got my AC 400i auto like 3 weeks ago, out of the crate new, and I love it, but, I want to do more to it, the only thing is, i'm having a hell of a time finding aftermarket performance parts for it, is there anyone out there that can help me with this, I want to add some more power to this thing, or do what I can to make it lighter, and more reliable, like a clutch kit or something too. OK, thanks a bunch.

I bought a 400i and bought a EPI clutch kit for it. It came with a secondary spring and the internal clutch springs for it. I haven't put it in yet but I noticed the secondary spring was very close to a Arctic Cat greeen secondary spring( # of coils, free length, and tension) for snowmobile secondary clutch,so if you want to save yourself some money go and buy a green spring from your dealer and see if it will work. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but if I get a chance to try it I will try to tell you how it works. Also make sure to jet it down to a 145 or even a 142 you will get much better fuel mileage. It's nice to see another MT rider on the forum. Where did you buy your machine?

I bought myn from Fastoys in Kalispell. I'm fairly new to this sport, been into snowmobileing mainly (arctic cat of course) but now decided to try and play with something on wheels, so far i'm having a blast, I just would like to see what i can do to tinker with this thing, and get goodies for it.
Yeah, born and raised riding here in Montana, only way to go, one thing nice about this state, so much room to PLAY!!

Too bad everything is burning I live in Missoula and haven't seen much sun this month. Definately check the jetting and try the spring in the secondary clutch you may have to get the A/C secondary clutch tool for the ATV's to remove the spring.

Yeah, there is a lot of smoke down there, I was down there a week ago. Actually, I was driving through Missoula the weekend those fires started, on my way down to Butte. But you are not the only one living with smoke, Glacier park up here has been burning for a couple months now, I haven't seen the sun in about 2 1/2 or 3 months, IT SUCKS........i'm used to not seeing the sun in the winter here in Montana, but, I get enough of it in the summer I don't care, but this year, NO SUN, can't even breath right half the time, it sucks. Yeah, i'm gonna look for a clutch kit, and, I don't know, we'll see what comes out for these things, when it gets right down to it i'm more concerned about riding it than modifying it, and i'm going out tomorrow!! Hopefully somewhere with less smoke.
