Default New Ride!!

I pick up my new ride in the morning. 03' Honda Foreman Rubicon 500. $6k OTD. You can get them for $5,600 if you want to drive to north OK. Already ordered tires, wheels, lift, and spacers for it. They should be on the doorstep when I get home. Already planning on the first ride this weekend (FWP). Hopefully, now I won't be breaking down every time I ride and have a little fun again.

Now if I can only get rid of the Cat 500i. Airbox finally came in at the dealer but he said the axles are on back order. As soon as I get the axle its going in the Dallas Morning News classifieds. Also, sold the boat last weekend.

Congrats on the new ride. Good to see you staying into riding. Those Rubys are hard to kill, just ride and focus on the cold beverages. The guy that had the interest in your Cat could not come up with the cash. We are planning a trip to FWP also, I'll let you know .

ODB--You've got my cell #. If you go ride this weekend let me know. Give me a call Saturday and we can meet out there if you go to FWP. It's just me and the Gizz guy going. We are going Sat after work, we will be there about 7pm. Will do a bit of night ridin Sat and ride a while Sunday. Would enjoy the company.

By the way ODB, had a special rack built for the cold beverage cooler. It's pretty sweet. Looking forward to the first ride.

Made it through the first ride with only one thing breaking. The handle on the cooler. It's more fun when you make it back to camp without anything broken. The Rubi did pretty well. It won't hang with the big Cat's but that's all right. I'm focusing on cooler management these days.

Another person enlightned by the fact you have more fun on a quad that doesn't break on you. That new 650 cat looks mighty nice though, I think I will give it 2 years before I touch it though, gotta see how many axles it breaks first.

By the way, Kudos to the guys at Honda, the new limited-slip diff they put in them is great. It's a real shame AC isn't using this setup. An aftermarket locker is pointless with this diff in my opinion.

Planning another ride to Gator Run first weekend of October. It's a great place, the car wash is really sweet, no more worrying about radiator's staying clogged up.

Rides like a Honda. Not much room between the front wheels and fenders. Thats about it.

Love the transmission, it is sweet. The front diff is excellent. The seat is nice. All the usual good Honda stuff.
