Do i need to know what the value is for the pinion?? I sure hope npot cause it is a son of a gun to get out.

im using my stock front gear housing stock pinion,stock gear case cover and a new ring rear"unlocked for hunting purposes" i will put my locked diff back in when hunting season is over
send me the formula to follow i lost my copy of it. Thanks

is the value stamped or etched on the pinion like on the housing and etc.???

 

I will check my files for the formula and send it to you. If your stock ring gear has the markings "OO" on it, and your new ring gear has "OO". Use the same shims. If they are different, you will need the formula.


The pinion shims do not have be changed unless you change the housing.

 

The values are etched on the housing and the gears.

well i can tell you that the new one says...34077 stamped in at the bottom and if you look at it the same way at the top has 01 stamped or etched in it. i just hope my stock one has 01 on it as well
