Hey bfb650b2, Thanks for the pricing info. The $6800 price you mentioned wasn't an out the door price was it? The Artic Cat dealer in Tulsa, Ok. gave me a price of $7299 on the 650, & that didn't include anything but the base price. He said he didn't make enough per unit to come off that price. I realize you got a better deal by your buddy getting one too. Anyway with your info i'll have something to go on. Would you mind posting your total price for the 650

OTD is $7024.
We are getting both 650's out-of-state & have 30 days to get them licensed here in New Mexico,USA (30 days from purchase date)
Net excise tax of 3% + registration fees.
$6800 @ 3% = $204
regristration + $ 15
other fees + $ 5
Total taxes + other fees is $224.00
{NOTE: regristration plates in NM for ORV's are valid for 3 years, for $15.00 }

Thanks bfb, At least now i have the numbers i need to start my negotiations in earnest. Did you get all the mounting hardware for the winch in that price & what about installation? I've made a list of all the accessories from the AC catalog that i want, which is quite extensive, & want to make my deal on everything at once. Enjoyed your pics. You guys ride in some of the same areas that i will be going to in Colo. & Utah, Silverton/ Durango, Paiute Trails. I also go to BLM property in Ariz. As of now i have 8 different areas to check out in Ark. , as well as that many here in Oklahoma. Will be putting the Vulcan Nomad up before long, time to think about ATV's. Hope to see you on the trail someday. Regards, Jerico1

Next late summer, ( late August ) I will be returning to Lake City/Silverton, CO then to the Pauite Trails after Labor Day. Lets hook up for some great high elevation riding.

Hey bfb, You are getting a good deal on your AC 650, especially with the winch & all. Its tucked in so nice you wouldn't even know its there if it wasn't for the hook & strap hanging out. The dealer charged me $100 to install mine, but no charge for install on the bumper/brush guard & rear bumper. I liked the chrome wheels, but just couldn't justify the $90 apiece price. Maybe when new tires are due i'll take a look at the Maxxis Bighorns & chrome wheels.Getting together on the trails sounds like a plan, lets make it happen. Do you keep in touch with your friend from Tn. (Oxygen)? Regards, Jerico1

Jerico1;
1st I met Oxygen & his Wife Nancy on there way to Colorado, at one of the Indian Casinos along I-285 north of Santa Fe,NM. While Oxygen & I told ATV war stories to each other, his wife was winning some money on the slots! Then I met up with Oxygen in Silverton last August 7th for riding, me & the other buddy that too is getting the Cat 650 with me, rode with Oxygen for 4 days there, then we all headed out to Moab & then the Paiute Trails in the Marysvale area. We all had a great fun ATVenture. It was like I knew Oxygen my entire life instead of just 2 weeks. We keep'n touch every week now & are already making plans for our return trip to Colorado (my 4th trip to this same area) & the Paiute Trails, which will be a 2nd return trip for me but we will ride a different area. Check out www.webshots.com enter bfb650b2 in members block & it will take you to my photo section of our last ATVenture trip to the Rockies & Utah, { ATV Trip 2003 } all of the pics are posted compared to the few I put in my Gallery here on ATVconnection. Enjoy.
I am going to call my Cat dealer today to check on the status of our soon to be 650's & with one of them hopefully soon with my butt sitting on it.
