It's the other way around, they couldn't hang with you.

As for the brakes you have One lever on the left that controls all the brakes hydraulicly and a foot pedal on the right that controls just the rear brake, not sure if the pedal is hydraulic or cable on the 650 though.

New for 04--Cat 400/500/650 have hydrolic rear brake and floating calipers on all of them. Should be an improvement over woeful mechanical rear brake of previous years.

The Mag test report as always, do not proof read their info or more likely, they just don't care.
Not only did they misprint the wrong information on the brake levers, they also stated the wrong information on ground clearance.
Why wasn't the 58 inch wheelbase questioned, as this is what is listed on their spec page on wheelbase but also I might add, is listed as 58" in Arctic Cats own '04 ATV brochure.
I am surprized that this Mag listed the correct weight for the LE!

Correct information -
One left handlebar brake lever for both front & rear hydraulic disc brakes.
Right foot brake pedal for a single hydraulic disc brake.
Excellent engine braking.
13" ground clearance.
50" wheelbase.
