Arctic Cat dependability?

my cat 500 has been very reliable. only problem was a sparkplug that broke after 200 miles, and they forgot to plug in the radiator fan at the factory. the shifter is also rough, but has gotten better. I don't think my next quad will be a cat simply because i want something a little smaller and lighter. my friend has a polaris sportsman and i think it is much more fun to drive. I have 2 honda 3 wheelers, and they are amazingly reliable. i wanted to buy a honda quad, but that year they only had electronic button shift, which i didn't like, so i bought the cat.

i've only had to have one axle replaced.
since then i've had no problums with it.
and that was over 400 miles ago
i realy like my cat so what if it has a few problems.
when they get them all ironed out it will be one sweet ride.
i still think its one of the best quads out there and it will just get better.
every quad has it querks.
cat500i you must have gotten a monday cat eather that or your very hard on it.
did your dealer not fix yours under warrenty.
im not trying to **** you off but i ride my cat in all kinds of terrane and i have 1400 plus miles on it and only had probs with one axle and it dident break it was just starting to make a clicking noise and the warrenty covered it.

speaking of that. i just got my quad back from getting the new axle put on. The new one is different then the old one. Skinnier in the middle and then it bows out at the ends. i called the dealer back and said that those are new, my quad was the first one he has put one in, so maybe they have figured out their axle problem?!?
