400 4x4 auto questions ?

Looking at buying an 04 400 auto 4x4. Got it priced out w/ 2500 lb. Warn winch at $5747 otd. Is this a decent price? Those that have on, how happy are you with them? Been riding Suzukis and Yamahas. Will this one hold up as well?
Thanks

I bought an 03 400 auto for $5200.00 including tax. I have 80 miles on my bike and it is starting to run better after breaking it in. I think the auto is noisy and I had problems with the fan switch sensor but it was fixed under warrenty. I went riding yesterday and got it up to 50 miles an hour on hard road which is fast enough for me! My friend rode a honda 350 recon 2 wheel drive and could keep up as far as speed went but my auto was faster on the trails. Just give it gas an go!! At first, I wish I would have gotten a manual but after watching my friend shift gears and puting the bike in reverse in the mud (getting his boots and arm muddy to shift gears), I was glad to have my auto! I also splashed threw alot of deep hole + went threw water up to the gas tank several times with no problems or belt slippage. So the Auto Cat has impressed me so far!! Before you buy and if you are going to be doing alot of pulling or work with your Cat, I would recommend the manual. If its joy riding and mudding, I would recommend the Auto. I think the Cat will hold up! Good luck!!

I love mine 03 auto 4x4 ,I have 169 mph on her and man have I no test the power increase on the past couple of times I ridden it .
At first when I bought it I was a little disappointed in the power ,it felt like the brakes were on ,now well I'm looking for a new set of rear tires . O ya I had her up to 58 mph on a paved road , that was enough for me .Plenty of pulling power to .
I know you will be glad you bought one . I played 5,094.81 with the winch and a helmet.

Thanks for the replies. Deal fell through. Went to buy and dealer decided to drop my trade $1k. Said he just got some 300s from a dealer going out of business at a good price and couldn't give me what he had said for my 2001 250 quadrunner.
Walked out and went and bought the Eiger 4x4 auto. Kinda glad I did. Established dealer (30) years. Family owned and operated. 3rd atv I have bought from them.
AC dealer is new and has always sold lawn equipment. Didn't have the warm and fuzzy with them. Only thing I liked about the AC was IRS. But after talking to Suzuki dealer who used to sell ACs, I'm glad I stuck with the Suzuki.
Thanks and good luck.
