This last summmer I bought two '03 400 auto ACT w/2500 lb winches and one with a plow. The one with the plow cost $5200 and the other ran me $5100. The dealer also included two helmets of our choice. These prices were out the door prices. I had called around to three other dealers here in Alaska and nobody would match the price or nor did they have the correct color. As far as having money to play with at the dealership, it depends upon supply and demand or if they want to sell you a ATV bad enough. If they sell every ATV they get sent and they don't sit on the floor very long, they may not give much of a break. I walked in with a hand full of cash and said this is all I have and if you can't sell me the ATV's at this price I'll be more then happy to go with brand X. The paper work took 10 mins and I picked up my ATV's two hours later. I'v have a few minor problems that my dealer has been very quick to fix. So if your in Alaska and thinking of a purchase, go see the guys at Wasilla Arctic Cat! They will treat you right!

 

$ 350. a year in not bad. I got a quote over the internet from Progressive for $ 1117. a year which I thought was crazy. My dealer here in Pennsylvania also told me that if my city calls a state of Emergency when it snows that ATV's are aloud on the road as long as they are registered. I just insured my new 400 Outlander (aprox. same price machine) for $150 full coverage thru Progressive.

 

I just called my AllState Agent and got a quote on my 04 ac 400 4 X 4. I'll be paying $ 244.00 a year for full coverage with a $ 100 deductable. I don't think thats bad at all.

 

no 244 a year for full coverage isnt bad, if i wasnt getting my insurance free id be calling allstate right now, but my dad has blanket coverage for everything that is on his beef farm and it includes atvs, unfortunatly it doesnt cover snowmobiles

 

Just curious what exactly what do these policies cover?

 

I think I just paid ~$330 for 1 year with State Farm in MN.

You know, Im not sure to what level Im covered.... There is collision and medical with a $500 deductable, but I dont know how much of either Im entitled to.... Ill have to look into that and get back...

retirednak. i have to agree with you about Wasilla Arctic Cat. they were also the only people in the state who would deal with me. it was a long drive from fairbanks but i saved some money even though i had to spend about $75 in gas. the dealer up here made it plain that they were not to happy that i didnt buy from them, by charging me a little more when i have to take it to the shop. i would really like to buy from them again but it is a long way for me to drive.

 

I just purchased the policy on Friday for $ 244. a year. I will be getting the information in the mail this week. They told me its a $ 100,000 liability and a $ 100. deductable and thats full coverage. I will have more details when I get the policy in the mail and then I will post it. It does cover theft and collision. Thats my main concern.

Each occurrence $ 300,000 BB- Property damage liability each occurrence $ 100,000. Medical Payments, each person $ 1,000. This is considered full coverage for $ 244.00 a year.
