Default stopped running wont start!

My 2003 TRV stopped running on me while plowing the other day . 1st thought was i was out of gas ,not the case!! I had now battery power at all! Checked all the fuses , all good . Called my dealer and he informed me that there was a main 30 amp fuse in the pos. battery cable . Well if i had a normal one up , i would have been okay , but when arctic cat designed the TRV they didnt think about that little fuse . You need to remove the side panel and undo some of the bolts on the black filler panel that is part of the rear fender to be able to squeeze your hand in there to reach it ! Did fix my problem but wouldnt want to ever deal with it out on the trail!!!!

To what do you attribute blowing a 30 amp fuse? Thats a lot of amps.

maybe he uses his winch to lift an lower the plow, if he was lifting and dropping quite a bit it could have overheated the motor, just a though

I had a 2003 500i auto that blew the 30a fuse . It was from a worn wire on the regulator.it was a new machine with only 100 miles.I would look over your wire harness carfully. for anything rubbing.

Well It could be one of two things , i found a pair of needle nose pliers down in beside the wiring harness or maybe i was pulling alot of load on the winch because the cable had bunched up a little but i , i more think it was the pliers
