What is a 2002 500 Worth?

I'm looking at selling my 2002 500 Cat to get the new MRP 650. My machine is in excellent shape with under 250 miles. The problem is that my dealer said he wanted $3100 to boot for the 650 MRP. Does this seem right?

you say 3100. How much does he want for the 650? You should be able to get 3000+ for your 500.

Is there much of a market right now for private selling instead of trade-in?

so he is giving you 4k for you 2002, judging by what i paid for my 2003, 5100, id say that is a pretty good deal
