I have a 2003 400 4x4 auto with 190 miles ,I've noticed an annoying noise when I come down hard from some small jumps ,I have some 2 or so miles of up and down trails behind the house created from all the riding .
It sounds like a playing card in the front spokes of a bike ,It only happens for a few seconds on impact and then that's it .
I've been all over this thing and found nothing, nothing in the fan or the front brakes .
Is this normal ?

Jwoodsman; I had a 2001 500 that would do something similar. It was the tires hitting the fenders and rubbing. I think that your machine may have more suspension travel in the front than the 01 had but I am not sure. Anyway I added a one inch lift kit and I never had the problem again. Good luck! Or just upgrade to the 650 its great.

Thanks guy's I never thought of the suspension bottoming out on the fenders .
