Default Hitch.....reciever for 650, availability

Can anyone tell me where to get an Arctic Cat receiver for the new 650. I have tried some for trucks but they will not work with my louisianna gaurd dog due to the fact they are too long. My dealer says they are on backorder.

Norycle,How is it too long? in the hitch or receiver end? If its the receiver end, how about cutting some off of it? Never priced Cat's receiver, but it has to be much more expensive then onr from wallyworld.

I did make one myself, not too difficult to do.I wouldn't use it to pull a heavy load with my truck, but it is strong enough for anything being pulled on a ATV

You can pick them up anyplace that sells trailer stuff. 2" receivers are standard, and they come with different hitch offsets, depending on the hitch versus trailer height.

Just drill another hole for the hitch pin where it's needed. It won't affect the drawbar's strength. No need to buy a new bar.

I made one already I just want to prove to the dealer I can get one and he can't. Dealer was supposed to include one in the sale and he says they are on backorder. Thankxxx

Sounds like that dealer was feeding you a line. I pulled the one off my pick-up and it fit perfectly.

The one you pulled off your pickup will not work with a Louisianna Gaurd Dog, too long. Do you know what a Gaurd dog atv fastening system is?
