I did it yesterday, I went out and bought the 26" Mud-Lite tire kit with the c-series rims. My dealer talked me into Mud-Lites after I asked him about the Mud Bug and Gators tires.
Hey CatKarzy, how much air presure are you using in your Mud-Lites.
Thanks

my dad has 27's on his 04 400 cat 4x4 and there great. Personally I think there the perfect size. No problems with them on the unit at all. Except if you have the plow tilted to either side the edge will rub on the wheels if you turn sharp enough.

I have 27" Bearclaws on my 400, turns 'em no problem, except in reverse. No low range, so it's a little more challenging to back up in the mud. My bike is still stock yet, but is getting a jet kit and pipe, if they ever make one. Anyone considered using a pipe designed for a Eiger 400? Same motor, it should just be a matter of mounting it. Anyway, I would recommend the Bearclaws for a tire upgrade, they're decent in every condition, very good in the snow.

i have two freinds with 27" mud lites on 600 grizzlys and thay both run 4psi in there tires and thay say it rides better and thay seem to ride better in the sonw.
when thay had 8 psi in there tires thay said the tires dig into the snow but with 4psi thay seem to ride on top and pack the snow down rather then cut through the snow.
but after riding with them for the last month i still think my gators are better.
definetly better in the snow.
and now that the snow is almost gone we'll see if there better in the mud soon enuff.

catkrazy.
i was looking at my buddys 27x12x12 inch mud lites yesterday and it says on the sidewall max opperating air pressure 7psi.
so i got out my air gauge and checked the air pressure and thay where at 7 psi we droped them down to 4 psi and thay still look the same.
but he said that it road alot smoother now and it still feels good.

Did any of you weigh your aftermarket tires and your stock one? I'd like to see some real weights.

I got my Mudlite's on C-series wheels and wieghted them verses stock and this is what I found.

Stock front tires and wheels 28LB
Stock rear tires and wheels 31LB
All four 118LB

Front Mudlite's (27x10-12) and C-series wheels 37LB
Rear Mudlite's (27x12-12) and C-series wheels 38LB
All four 150LB

Wieghts were checked on a digital scale.
Cub, your Mud Bugs are lighter than stock. Are they mounted on steal or aluminum wheels?
