Before you buy an AC650, talk to Jeff at Hobbytime Motorsports in Bolivar, MO. He treated me well on mine and sells all accessories at 20% off MSRP.

if ac is gona have efi, and it is a major selling point for you , I would wait for it. ac has had the efi running well in there snomobiles for quite a few years. And all i have ever heard about polaris is if your gona buy a sled make sure its carb because there efi still has many bugs to work out.

Now I wonder what size the efi kitty will be, the suzuki 700 maybe?. should be interesting to see

Arctic Cat will not release any info before the dealer convention in June. If they do offer EFI it will have to be their own design, as they buy complete engine assemblies from Suzuki \ Kawasaki. If either of them come out with EFI for their flagship 4x4 quads, do you think they will they share it with AC immediately? If that were the case, there would be an AC 700 instead of 650. Kaw won't sell the 700 to AC because they want the bigger engine advantage for sales. Same will go for EFI.

I would think that Suzuki would share the same 700 EFI with Arctic Cat, after all, they do own 25% of the company. Therefore, why wouldn't they want them to have the best too? I can see where Kawasaki wouldn't want to share the 700, but that 650 engine is just fine by me. Although, I know Cat's EFI system works great(on my snowmobile anyways), and I am sure they would just put that on instead of using someone else's, but who knows. You would think if they can have a batteryless EFI for 2-stroke snowmobiles and EFI for their 4 strokes as well, it wouldn't take much to put it on an ATV. I have telling my old man to hold out for a Cat EFI.
