Anyone try an exhaust system from Black Magic for a 2003 500i (auto). Tell me what you thought about it.

Oldcrow, I see you have a 02 ZR800EFI, sounds like a nice sled. But does it handle as good as a 95 ZR700? I bet not.

Probably means nobody has one yet. I don't think a lot of people realize who Black Magic is. Their website doesn't show a listing for the exhaust system, but they do make one, I emailed them and got a response from them. I'd try emailing them if you're interested.

I have emailed and talked to Tim B. and he talks up his pipe pretty good. It does sound impressive. I have seen posts that some here have the system on thier bike and would like to hear from them.

Me too, I'm interested in a set up for my 400. I'll keep my eyes peeled to see if anyone has one.

I just traded my '03 500i for my 650 and there is a world of difference!!!!!!! My 500i manual had a jet kit, k&n, and Black Magic pipe and was slow as pond water compared to the 650!! The feel of the 650's mid-range is awesome!! I lost a little in trade money but made it up in eye watering POWER! My personal opinion is "Just Do It

This was a post by CUB from a different thread. was hoping he would respond.

I'mm, uh, jealous really. Sucks to be me, but I can't afford a 650 within the next 5 years, so i guess I'm stuck with improving what I have. I'm happy with it anyway, I'm not into blinding speed, and I don't really want to ride gas tank deep in mud either, so what I have is fine. Mind you that Black magic pipe and a jet kit would be a welcome addition. Glad you like your 650..

I did trade up. I found the quote from a different thread and didn't know how to move it here. I would get beat up bad if I traded in on a 650 so I have to make my 500 the best can.
