Default OIL CHANGE TIME

oilfilter plug
???

Not sure what that is. I just changed the oil in my 500 TRV weekend before last. I just placed an oil drain pan under the crankcase and removed the oil drain plug. Once the crankcase was drained I just unscrewed the oil filter, set it in my oil drain pan and let it drain there. Doesn't drip much oil when you remove it as long as you let the crankcase drain completely before removing it. If there is some kind of a plug that you can remove to drain the filter before removing it, that's news to me.

yeah there is a small drain plug right under the oil filter. It is in an awkard place and the only way I fount to remove it was with the wrench in the tool kit. go to www.alpha-sports.com and look in the parts breakdown. It may show you a picture to find it in.
