I have an Arctic Cat 250 and was just wondering if it would be safe to use 10W30 synthetic motor oil even though it says on the engine that you should use 10W40.

Jason:
I talked to my dealer about this same topic a couple weeks ago for my 500's. He said that is fine, and that is what he recommends anyways over the regular Arctic Cat oil. He said a good 10-30 synthetic does a better job and is cheaper than the AC oil.

Hope that helps.

Mike
