Default dvx 400

how is the machine? what is it best comparable to? *z400, kfx, 400ex etc etc.* what are it's strong and weak points and what are th ings to watch out for when buying one of these? -- what are the problems w/ them

Same bike mechanically and structurally as the 04 z and kfx. Only significant problems are some weak frames and a few spotty issues. Pretty reliable and a great trail machine. Some people have had issues with the removable fenders though.

Its an awesome bike. Same motor as the Z, but I think it looks more aggressive.

yea....the spot where the metal bar connects to the fenders is really weak, i've already broken two rears and one front one...nothin major, just rattled alot till i put a rivot through it

Indeed. I keep trying to get my wife to agree to one. She says they are ugly. I think it's guys at work telling her how great Yamaha & Hondas are (their rides). The Artic Cat looks like a great quad to take the place of her old 400EX. If only Bomb made a 400-450cc sport quad....

Andrew, I heard rumours of a 450 class bomb, but they are only R&D rumours, not production ones.

My Aunt works at greif corp. in van wert, she lives in Grover Hill. I was just down there last weekend.

That's crazy! My wife's father works at Grief. Great name for a company huh?

BTW, any DVX riders ride in the water or little mud yet? The Cat looks like it offers little splash proctection though.
