Has anyone looked at the 650 air filter closely? It looks like the area around the plastic posts will pass dirt . The Prairie 650 filter wasn't anything to brag about but it sure is better than the A.C. air filter. Lets hear your opinions ,maybe K&N will see these forums and build a better one

After doing a lot of searching on the net regarding K&N filters...I have concluded that never again will i subject any of my personal vehicles to the type of upper engine sanding that K&N is famous for. I had one in my dodge for a while but after learining more about K&N it couldnt come out quick enough. Oh and just for a bit of info, after several tanks with a paper filter in place of the K&N, there has been no difference in gas milage. Just my opinion for what its worth
