Default arctic cat "mrp" stuff???????

i have an 04 650 ac with mrp racks, i was wondering if anybody has used any of that stuff? when i bought mine i got the dealer to throw in the chian saw holder but i have not used it yet. thinking about a few other items, the stuff seems to be well made but is it really all that practical. i do use my machine alot for utility reasons and starting to use it more so just wondering if antbody else used it.

I think the MRP system is great! Finally optional plug-in accessories you don't have to take with when you dont need them! Having choices for plug-in components rather than having to buy individual systems. I think this is the best rackage idea to come along.
I use -
round basket = minnow bucket or propane tank
square baseket = two coolers one food one drinks
tool holder = carry short shovel and axe
chain saw mount = chain saw

The MRP options are great, just way, way overpriced. I wanted the rectangular basket for hauling things, but could not get myself to pay 140.00. So I went to steel supply company, and for about 30.00 bought all of the steel I needed and used my wire feed welder. Looks as good as the factory one but for a fraction of the price.

I have it but only because they had a bike in stock that already had the system. It seems nice BUT is over priced. Maybe since I can bolt TOOLS on it I can write it off on my taxes next year??

I have several of the hunting pieces. They are more expensive, but worth the price to me because they come on and off quickly

Tool holder should work well for a weed whacker. It should rest on the pins and bolts between the plates - no problem.

THe MRP options are really nice just way over priced. I agree with 1tonchev that you can make most of the attachments yourself for less money.

I was thinking of a canoe rack to fit from the front to rear rack. Anybody try this yet? I also haven't seen one in any MRP accessories book yet! Maybe for 2005?
