Hello,
I'm looking to buy a new ac650 and was wondering how you guys liked yours, secondly I was wondering if it is worth waiting for the 05 cat to come out.I seen the new pictures and they look cool but I don't know much about engines.
Thanks for the help, Dave

I just bought one and after riding for the past few weekends, I believe I made the right choice. I put it through mud, water, hills and it seems to handle nearly everything very well. Comfortable ride on the trails as well.

I've had a chance to personally compare it to a 400ac, 500 polaris, and a 700 polaris and I really believe this one is worth the money. For what it's worth, ask specific questions if you have them..

I love the one I have but the new 650's look awesome! The V2 will be the same as the '04's but with new plastic, the H1 will have the new engine....

Thanks for the info. Just wondering what is the difference between the V2 and the H1 engines? I understand one is a twin but does one out preform the other. I would mostly be using it for hunting up here in Alaska and we encounter a lot of mud and heavy pulling.
Thanks again, Dave

The HEMI 650 is tuned more for the low end and mid range power. I would personally wait for this one if you're doing any heavy pulling with it. I have seen the pictures of the HEMI and it looks to be very compact for being a 650 with an auto tranny. The workmanship put into the motor is also an industry first. AC will be doing a complete test on every motor before they go into the machines.

as far as the 05 goes I cannot answer. I have an 04 and I love it I had a little belt trouble do to the dealer not explaing to use low range for trail riding it will run 45plus in low. Other than it is a beast! It will handle mud like a pro and is a blast to just trail! IT walks over logs and ditches as smooth as silk! It impresses all my Honda friends Mine only has 150mi so the only question I have is long life but it really feels like it is built right! Hope my rambling helps!

If you can wait until Dec or Jan get the H1 that is when they should be at the dealers but if you cant get the V2 is an awesome machine.
