electrical problems

I have a 1996 bearcat 454 4x4.I had a problem locating a new shaft for it,so it set up for about a year.Now that I hav it back together.I can't get no fire from the spark plug.Can anyone give me a clue on what might be wrong.Is it the plug,the coil, or the cdi box.I would appreiate any good help.Thanks to all..............

Look And Search for the right parts it also serves as a diagram of assembly.

mudbucket; Well first off "shorty 16" is and A$$. I don't have a diagram of the '96 wiring, but I'm pretty sure the is a test proceedure with a meter you can do, atleast there are for the later models. You need a meter and a test procedure out of a manual. Did you test for fire with the old plug itself, if so get a new plug and try it, I've seen plugs go bad from sitting. Also check to make sure the run-stop switch is in the run position(been there done that). If that doesn't help then disconnect the run stop switch. Otherwise make sure nothing is killing a good system. Oh yeah, you might check fuses. Pull and then reinstall them, sitting that long can cause all kinda strange problems. You should get a manual, try the libarary it's free and if it's like mine you can find and order what you want on line.
