Is anyone here privy to any information about the release date of the 2005 models?

My local dealer told me that they wouldn't have them until September or later.

Anyone heard conflicting information on this date?

He's jerking you around or he's not a high volume dealer. I just bought an '05 last Fri. from a dealer here in Tucson. One of the other dealers in town got his shipment the same day and is just leaving them crated up until fall, or until he sells all of the 04s. Kinda lame in my opinion, he wouldn't even set put together a new one for me to see--cost him a sale too!

 

That's what I figured. I didn't think Arctic Cat would put the whole '05 lineup on it's website while they were still that far out from delivery.

They basically gave me the usual run-around [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] and he just had to state that they were the hightest volume dealership in the area. They still probably had 15 or 20 Cats and the same amount of '04 Polaris' too. Guess they don't want my money too bad!

I guess next time I go see my parents in Houston I'll check out the real high volume dealerships in a city a little larger! (Just about 8 million people larger)

 

Anyone else heard anything different from their dealers of from Arctic Cat itself?

 

My brother in law has a good friend that works at an AC dealer... he said they couldn't (wouldn't?) order any '05's 'til they sold more of their '04's... My guess is they can't carry the overhead (yet I'm told they're "out" of 500's...)

That's just it Mb , They were supposed to order there new year models next week as they do every year ( second week of July) but because of all the 04's still on the floor the boss couldn't swing it .
They also sell sleds and believe two or three other ATV brands.

 

CERTAIN MODEL 2005'S ARENT GOING TO BE AVAILABLE UNTIL SEPTEMBER OR EVEN LATER, BUT WE'VE GOTTEN 2 NEW TRV'S AND 2 NEW 400 AUTO'S AND WERE SUPPOSED TO BE GETTING A 500 AS EARLY AS NEXT WEEK. SO SOME PRODUCTION HAS BE DONE ON CERTAIN MODELS

 

in wadena, mn our dealer has the 400 n 500's in the '05.
but evrthing else is gonna be later.
