who has the 400 DVX??
#1
I currently have an 03 400I auto 4x4 cat and I am thinking about selling mine and buying a DVX. I would like to know what the pros and cons are of this bike? What kind of problems you have had with it? how does it handle, climb, and go in the mud? Any problems with the chain? Is it hard or a common problem to adjust the chain? Any infor you can provide before I buy will be appreciated!! Thanks!!

well i can tell u i know a guy who has one and it seems like its awesome.. actually i know a couple of guys and they love em. one guy had problems with the back tires tho, they were too soft for his riding and he had 8 plugs in the back tires 3 days after purchase, but other than that he loves it and hes got 2 new back tires on the way for it, and im gettin one as soon as i get a job so from what ive read and heard i would definitely reccomend this quad.

It is a great bike I have one and I love it. I havent had any problems with it. It handles and climes great. It will go through a little mud I would not go through alot though the backend is a little low. No problems with the chain. The ajustment is a breeze. Great bike go for it.

I also love mine. It will go up anything you're willing to. I love going up a really steep hill where you can just leave it pinned in second. It does awesome! I'm not very happy with the handling though, it plows a lot but a simple tire change will fix all that. I've had mine all summer and have only adjusted the chain once, it was incredibly simple! It does all right in the mud, the tires are pretty good you're just limited by ground clearance. The only problem i've had with mine so far is that all four fender supports broke and caused it to rattle. It's pretty dang fast though, I was very impressed with the acceleration. When I get my exhaust I think it'll beat just about any other stock quad(hopefully).

i have one and it is a good bike. the seat is a little stiff and the fender supports as said before suck, but other than that it is good. i don't know what style of riding you do but it will kick on the 4x in probably all but the mud. i do know that it won't climb every ting you point it at but it does as good as any other stock bike. i just got back from the cinder hills in flagstaff and they have some damn big hills there, a lott i could climb a lott i couldn't and even more you couldn't pay me enough to try. if you like big *** hills this is the place to go. glamis doesn't compare.

i have one... It's the first sport bike i have ever owned. But it runs like the dickens. mines all stock for now, i would like to get a pipe on it and maybe some tires on the rear. I just now have gotten my break-in hours on it and finally opening it up a little. As far a climbing and mud, i will find out today, going riding in a few hours. haven't ajusted the chain yet, but buddies with the Z 400 say its a breeze. I have a buddy with a 400ex, and its piped, and jetted, and it just barely stays even with my DVX in a drag and mines stock. overall, The DVX is awesome, but i have heard about rumers of them not making the DVX for 2005???
