Need shop manual alignment specs
#1
Could someone with a shop manual supply me with the factory specs for toe in and toe out. I aligned my 300 4X4 with 1/4 " toe out, and the front end, still shakes like a washing machine in 4th and 5th gears. I would appreciate any help.

Hey Jett, I am reading from the manual right now and it states that you must have 6.4mm / 1/4"
of "Toe In" in the front.
It also states that the handle bars do not move during this procedure and recommend that you tie them in place to the rear rack using tie down straps etc.
If you need anymore info, just let me know.

I can't help with the the alignments specs at this time. I am trying to purchase a repair manual from Arctic Cat but my local dealer has not been able to come up with a part number for one. I own a 2000 500 manual shift. Can any one help me?

Try these people:
Smith Marine (215)345-1621
They are in New Britian, Pa. which is not close to me either but they manage to get everything I order from them over the phone including my shop manual. They are very friendly, helpful and caring. I know alot of dealers that should take lesson's from these people but that's another story.
You could also go to Arctic-Cat.com and use thier dealer locator. Good luck...
