looking to buy one and wondering how they hold up to any kind of work such as hauling, pulling mower, pulling disc, and stuff around the farm. Even comments on the 2004s would be helpful. Thank you

As far as I have read, the all new AC 650 V2 is the same thing as the 2004. The only difference is the new plastic design. Suspension, drivetrain components are the same. As far as being a workhorse, from what I have done and people that I know that have them, it is possibly one of the best. A friend of mine uses his for planting about 3 acres of corn, he just drops the plow puts it in 4wd and low range and never looks back. If you are looking to really plow and disc a lotta land, nothing beats a good ol' John Deere. But for smaller lots, it is a great workhorse. I use my AC to pull my 16 ft car trailer with a car on it, to my garage back behind my house. I am not going to lie and tell you it pulls it with no problem, but it pulls it and gets the job done!

i went over to a buddies place and pulled an old camaro out that was sitting there for about 8 years and i pulled it through grass about 5 feet tall through a low spot where it sunk and i c ouldn't even hardly tell it was back there it is a pulling machine but if you are gonna pull alot or even nothing at all put a black secondary clutch spring in it right away and take out the small shim in the secondary clutch that will make the belt tighter so you will never have to worry bout slipping it

The AC 650 is just that amazing! I love it when people tell me,there is no way you can pull that! Then all that is left to do is prove them wrong!

No one knows too much on the new H1 yet but for what you want I would go with it just because it has a better transmission.

There is one small difference that a lot of people forget when they put down the kawi tranny (which works just great ones you put an hour of work and another spring in it) and talk about the cat tranny... the kawi is not as wide (does not cover up half the footboard on the right) which makes for a better seating position for some folks.

There is NOTHING wrong with the Kawi transmission, NOTHING.

I have many miles on mine with not one little glitch, got 5,700kms out of the first belt.

Artic-Cat is your problem, read the threads on any kawi site or go and ask, no problems, just like mine, go across newfoundland if you want pulling a heavy trailer. I would not hesitate and would not have any wimp problems either. If you go to a one lunger after owning the twin, you are going backwards, if you never had the V twin, I guess you won't know what your missing.

Ease up heyyou,
