Default ITP 589 and springs..HELP

Hi Guys,

I just purchased the ITP 589 26'' mud/snow tires for my 03 AUTO 500. 26-9-12 front and 26-12-12 rear..I was hoping to hear some feed back from other owners running this same set up...DO they really drain that much hp? If so, what clutch springs do u reccomed me replacing my stock clutch springs with to gain back that lost set up...? I was thinking black secondary and red primary? What do you think? I dare not ask how well they do on mud and snow because just by looking at them and other feed back i have read, they will go through ANYTHING!!! Thanks, ALL comments and concers are appreciated...!!!!

ps...i have seen guys ont his forum with 28'' TIRES and they dont complain about power lost...so i cna't see how26'' in tires are going to drain that much... (my stock tires or 25'')

i had 27 inch on my 500 and it robbed alot of horsepower but i lived with it and well you are only going up to 26's so i can't see where you would have to put a clutch kit in i would save that money and buy a brush guard or rear bumper or something

Just put in a secondary spring vs a clutch kit. EPI black is what I have ordered but your stock Suzuki clutch seems to handle larger tires better then most other tranies.

My 27's are great for traction but the weight is harder on the machine.
