My buddie is trying to tell me his stock arctic cat 454, is a 454 chevy big block motor in it , says its the same motor as in a car lol wow he needs to read up on this stuff, he thinks he's right , he's not just kidding

 

Your friend is right, and the 400 Cat has a 396 Big Block Chevy.

lmao he is an idiot yeah they have the same number but he needs to look at the two letters after the number his chevy has CI after it where the atv has CC after it where CI stands for cubic inch and CC stands for cubic centimeters and everyone knows there is 2.54 centimeters in one inch just do us all a favor and kick him right square in the butt if the atv had a 454 big block chevy motor in it that thing would weigh a ton just look at the motor my goodness

 

The guy is a canidate for a sign. You know, they do or says something really stupid and you say "Here's you sign." The stupid engine isn't really a 454 either, then again neither is the Chubby, oops I mean Chevy.

 

I'm guessing to keep the weight down they used an aluminum block and heads (and crank and cam and...) Which chevy motor is in my new 500? (LOL)
