need help

Default need help

i have an 04 400 ac 4x4 and i was wondering if this is normal for like sumtimes wne i shift it like automatically downshift wne i dont even touch the lever wen im just riding on a straight away

ok if i understand correctly you are shifting into a higher gear and then it will jump down to a lower gear and well it is maybe just the fact that you aren't getting it all the way into gear so i would say that you aren't shifting it hard enough you can't baby it when you shift it put some force into it

I've got the same machine and I've not had that problem - ever. Weez might be right. You've got to be sure it's all the way in gear when you take off. Does this happen all the time, or has it just happened a couple of times?

If is happens quite often you might need to adjust the clutch. If its an every once a while thing maybe you are not getting it in gear all the way or when you move your foot off the lever you are also hitting the level in the downshift direction.

Need to know how often it occurs and where and when it occurs?
