Hi guys I may be into some funds that can used for purchasing my first ATV. I'm looking for the best value that 2500-3000 can buy, obviously a used machine is the target. I'll be using the machine for big game hunting and light work. Needs 4x4, and enough power to climb the rockies, riding two up.

 

My favorite dealer in Chehalis, Washington has a used 2002 AC 300 4X4 for sale for $3300 asking price on consignment. Should be easy to get it for $3000 or less. It's has the wide fender flares and a high, low and super low range along with the 5 speed. My AC250 2X4 has been to 7000 feet with 2 up and that was with sea level jetting. Admittedly we were down to second gear when we went over the top. Jetted for say 4 or 5000 feet and it would have done even better than mine did.

 

A used quad in good condition of a larger variety than one that is new for that price. thats my opinion. Like Paying $13000 for a Z71 silverado with some miles on it over buying a brand new 2wd S-10 for the same price.

 

Well I just bought a '03 AC 300 4X4 for 3400 with less than 150 miles so it's not new but I have a grand and it looks and runs new.

 

the prices will varry alot where you live to where i am at i can get used atv's cheap cause i live so close to polaris and arctic cat so alot of people get them for discount like here i could but a 2003 400 4x4 automatic with about 500 miles on it for roughly 3000 dollars just shop around you will find a good deal
